SPURS striker Jermain Defoe was arrested by police investigating threats to kill two women after £200,000 in jewels and clothes went missing from his home.
The gear disappeared after two cousins looking after Defoe’s home in Potters Bar, Herts, invited the girls back for a party.
When Defoe, 30, returned he allegedly ordered the cousins to get his belongings back.
The girls later said they were threatened — but not by England star Defoe or the cousins.
Defoe was questioned by detectives but released without charge.
An 18-year-old will face trial later this year accused of threats to kill.
